Last time on Newplex Wrestling, EC3 made his long-awaited return and enacted a portion of  his revenge against the man who injured him, Alberto Del Rio. The feud between The New Day and The Bullet Club continued, as Adam Cole picked up a victory over Kofi Kingston. However, Kenny Omega came out after the match and challenged his Bullet Club brother, Cody Rhodes. In the main event, the ‘Phenomenal’ AJ Styles made his debut, and defeated the opposing Deathstrike.

On this edition of Newplex Wrestling, Omega will battle Cody Rhodes. If Omega defeats Rhodes, he will be added to the World Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Jads, at the ‘Revelations of Gold’ PPV.

Newplex Wrestling #7 kicks off with championship action! Newplex Wrestling’s working relationship with other companies continues, as Tyler Bate’s United Kingdom Championship challenge to any international wrestler is accepted, by Deathstrike!

Deathstrike fires out of the gate, delivering a high knee strike before the match even begins. Deathstrike dominates, smashing Bate in the face with a high roundhouse kick that sends Bate to the outside. Deathstrike turns his back on Bate and taunts the crowd. As Deathstrike turns around, Bate attempts a high cross-body, but Deathstrike reverses it into a belly-to-belly suplex. Deathstrike grabs the face of Bate, and continuously smashes Bate in the head with glass shattering jabs.

Bate starts to bleed – from the head. The referee stops the attack from Deathstrike, and seals the wound on Bates head. Bates’ head stops bleeding, and Deathstrike taunts the UK Champion. Bate rises to the feet, and delivers a thunderous uppercut to Deathstrike.

Deathstrike stumbles back, and charges at Bate, however, Bate switches behind and rolls up Deathstrike for the pinfall win! For two weeks in a row, Deathstrike has lost a Newplex Wrestling match.

Showing his frustration, Deathstrike attacks Bate after the match. Deathstrike continuously stomps on Bate. Suddenly, Kurt Angle’s theme song begins to play. Angle charges to the ring, delivering a German suplex to Deathstrike, followed by an ‘Angle Slam’! Deathstrike scurries away, and the general manager stands tall in the Newplex ring.

Next, The ‘Pride of Mexico’ Alberto Del Rio comes to the ring. Del Rio challenges his nemesis EC3 to come face-to-face with him. However, his challenged is answered by another enemy Del Rio has made. Tryda enters the arena, followed by none other than EC3 as well. Tryda delivers a huge clothesline to Del Rio, but Del Rio rolls out of the ring before Tryda and EC3 can gain some revenge.

Del Rio seemed to be outnumbered by the people he’s brutally injured over the past weeks, but Del Rio had a plan all along. EC3 and Tryda are attacked from behind, by the ‘Iron Bulldog’ Davey Boy Jr, and Tyson Kidd! Del Rio, and the ‘Hart Clan’ stand tall in the Newplex ring. Once again, Del Rio gets the best of EC3, and the ‘Technical Assassin’.

Backstage, the World Champion Cody Rhodes encounters the ‘Phenomenal One’. The two men are seen briefly discussing, but the topic of the encounter remains unknown, as Aj is seen walking away from the World Champion.

Before the main event begins, the new Newplex Wrestling backstage reporter and interviewer makes his way to the ring…

Off the end of some massive news, the main event begins with the introduction of the two Bullet Club members who are facing off against one another. Kenny Omega enters to a thunderous reaction from the Newplex fans who show their appreciation to the ‘Cleaner’. The World Champion Cody Rhodes enters next, and receives boos from the raucous crowd.

Rhodes offers his hand to Omega, but slyly tries to cheap shot him. However, Omega blocks Rhodes’ attempted cheap shot, and delivers a huge standing kick to the jaw of Cody. Cody stumbles back, and looks at Omega with shock. Cody charges at Omega, but Omega sidesteps Cody, and Cody flies threw the middle rope, and out of the ring. Omega springs off the top rope, and delivers fantastic corkscrew dive. Omega rolls Cody back in the ring, but is unable to gain the pin fall. Omega allows Cody to rise to his feet, but Cody capitalises on Omega’s respect, and delivers the ‘beautiful disaster’ kick.

Kenny Omega has earned himself a World championship match at ‘Revelations of Gold’! We will witness a three way war, between Omega, Rhodes, and Jads.

However, after Omega leaves up the ramp, the ‘Rising Star’ Jads makes his return to Newplex Wrestling!

Jads delivers a huge capture suplex to Cody Rhodes, gaining a small amount of revenge on the man who cheated, to beat Jads for the World Championship. Jads then walks over to the Newplex World Championship, picks up the belt. Jads holds up the belt, and the audience cheer in appreciation, for the return of the ‘Rising Star’.

The ‘Revelations of Gold’ PPV is shaping up to be a massive event. What will happen next week?! How will Cody Rhodes and Kenny Omega co-exist when The Bullet Club face The New Day in a street fight? How will EC3 and Tryda respond to being attacked by the Hart Clan? What punishment will Angle face after he laid his hands on Deathstrike?! And just who is the ‘Demi-God?!
