Two of NXT’s brightest stars clash in this amazing match from before they were signed

Revolution Pro, or RevPro, is a company that I have been wanting to get into for a while. It’s safe to say that they are one of the biggest reasons the British wrestling scene has seen such a massive boom in the last couple of years.

One of the key factors in this is their working relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling. The match I watched this week is prime example of that. Taking place in 2014, we had an independent wrestling dream match on our hands at RevPro’s Summer Sizzler. In one corner you had Adam Cole (Bay Bay) – one of the hottest prospects in all of wrestling. At this point he is a former Ring of Honor champion and is setting the world on fire. His opponent is Prince Devitt, the leader of Bullet Club. He has held the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight title, won Best of the Super Juniors, and is a very bad man. This is going to be fun!

Devitt was known for his many different (and very cool looking) cosplay entrance attires before WWE, and in this match we see him make his way to the ring as Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. It was so cool and made him look so menacing. The match started off right away with a shotgun drop kick from Devitt, slamming Cole into the corner and followed up with a huge double stomp from the top rope.

It looked like it could have been over, but the match went on to be a total barn burner. Cole and Devitt had such chemistry and they put together a great match. I’m not going to spoil it for you – you need to watch it for yourself!

So head over to Powerslam.TV and use code ‘THENEWPLEX’ for a free month and watch this match and the little bonus at the end. You will love it!
